Santa to arrive at Oxford hospital by helicopter

The RAF Benson Santa drop is scheduled to take place in early December, depending on the weather.

Santa will land on the helipad at the John Radcliffe Hospital before visiting families at Ronald McDonald House and distributing presents at the children’s hospital.

A play team will organise for young patients and their families to meet Santa.

Last year’s visit saw Santa arrive in a Puma helicopter from RAF Benson and deliver more than 200 presents.

Presents were also distributed to children too unwell to meet Santa personally and to residents at Ronald McDonald House.
