Man shot, killed at home Jacksonville’s Grand Park community

A man was shot and killed early Tuesday at a home on Jacksonville North Westside. Police were called to the 3400 block of Division Street in reference to a person shot. Officers arrived to find a man in the driveway of a home shot in his torso, Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said at a news conference Tuesday morning.

The victim, a man in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene by Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department, according to JSO. Police were interviewing three people Tuesday morning. Police said two of the people being interviewed are likely witnesses and the third is likely the shooter.

The name of the victim was released.
