The 5th edition of the Filmfare OTT Awards, held in Mumbai on Sunday, has many stars from the industry in attendance. Apart from many notable appearances, the event also saw the reunion of Vijay Varma and Kareena Kapoor. ICYDK, the duo featured in the crime thriller Jaane Jaan together. For the Sujoy Ghosh film, Kareena won the Best Actor (Web Original Film – Female) award at the ceremony. Post the function, Vijay dropped a string of pictures on social media, capturing wholesome moments with the actress. Along with the pictures, he wrote, “Celebrating multiple wins at filmfare for Jaane Jaan with a Bebo pout. Congratulations Sujoy Ghosh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Jaideep Ahlawat, Jay Shewakramani, Akshai Puri, Netflix for the wins.”

In an earlier interview with Siddharth Kannan, Vijay Varma confessed his affection for Kareena, describing it as a “fatal attraction” and “one-sided love.” Vijay said, “People saw the affection I had for Kareena in the film Jaane Jaan. That’s a fatal attraction, one-sided love for Kareena. The kind of love where you admire the person from a distance. “
Jaane Jaan marked Kareena Kapoor’s first on-screen collaboration with Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat. Speaking about the same during an interview with Bollywood Hungama, the actress recalled a fun anecdote when her husband Saif Ali Khan gave her a heads-up, warning her to prepare well before working with Vijay and Jaideep. She shared, “Saif was like, ‘You need to be a little more prepared as they are going to be very well-prepared.”
Besides his professional endeavours, Vijay Varma continues to hog the limelight for his relationship with Tamannaah Bhatia. Recently, reports have surfaced suggesting that the duo is planning to tie the knot next year and have even started looking for their new home.
